Cursed Apartment
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Android
Cursed Apartment is a multiplayer and single-player horror game where you need to be attentive to not overlook any anomalies on floors. Use the elevator to reach floor 1 and escape before monsters get you. When you miss an anomaly, elevator will glitch and take you back to the highest floor.
STORY: You wake up in your apartment. A mysterious voice from a recorder tells you that you are trapped in a cursed building infested with anomalies and monsters. You need to escape by reaching floor 1.
PLAYTIME: 30 - 60 minutes
GAME MODES
Choose Exit 8 game mode - press up when there's anomaly, press down when no anomalies
Choose Escape game mode - remove anomalies by capturing them with your camera
Disclaimer: Game modes can only be chosen when creating online room.

Really fun game, but it's way too hard to avoid dying with a small amount of players (my friend and I were playing two player,) and "easy mode (no monsters)" still has monsters that killed both of us... I figure it's probably a bug but we couldn't find any way to make that bug not happen :/

This particular game won't have more maps. We plan to release steam version with more maps sometime in the future.
It was a good game, but because of the frequency I deleted it from my phone, and also the game is heavy and the enemies in it are kind of bad.

Yes. Mobile version has more maps, but if you choose cursed apartment it will work cross platform.

A fun game to play with friends, scared me a few times though we are kinda too blind to spot the difference for the anomaly. Great game overall, thanks for the game and hope see more of your stuff

You need to get near your teammate and hold E to revive. You have only 1 medkit at the start.

Hey, I have a question, what app do you use for online servers? Are they dedicated or do they run on host?

It's dedicated servers from AWS. But they are not cheap, I'd recommend to use host instead for this kind of genre.
Thanks for the reply, I wonder how much exactly do they cost, Photon offers 100CCU max for 95$/year, which is decent I think? I will donate you a dollar at least for the server run.
With AWS GameLift one c5/c4 instance can handle 20-30 games, which is 40-150 players for 60$/month
This game was something special, it was really terrifying... My friends and I enjoyed it a lot. It was kinda confusing at first, but we kind of got the hang of it and played for hours trying to beat it. 10/10

Can you release the game before the update as a separate download patch? Feels almost too easy after playing the last version for so long id like to have access to the challenge with my friends
Unfortunately I can't release previous versions, because server has access only to latest version
You can try a higher difficulty option when creating room.

I set the difficulty to "easy(no monster)" but i founded monster anyway. pls fix if it is a bug
By "easy (no monster)" I mean there will be no monsters that can kill you. Jumpscares will still be present.
Hey Devs, for some reason when trying to play with friends it says "Connection failed" every time. We are in the US and tried US and didn't work, but we tried every server option and still no solution. We also put in the IPs and Tags exactly how its stated... and every other way we could've thought XD.
We really want to play together, I played it solo and want to experience with friends lol. Any idea on how to fix this? Or what would help? Thanks!

If your friends can create a server and you cannot join or create a server, I suspect it has something to do with ipv4
You can try to join via dns instead, for example you want to join server 3.86.35.253:46208, you'll need to input dns endpoint instead:
US: ec2-3-86-35-253.compute-1.amazonaws.com:46208
ASIA: ec2-3-86-35-253.ap-northeast-2.compute.amazonaws.com:46208
EU: ec2-3-86-35-253.eu-central-1.compute.amazonaws.com:46208

Hi! I played the game with several people as someone who try every anomaly game I can find :)
I think it is a good game with great potential! So congrats on that
But I need to report some bugs, but also some things that could be better
- I'm sometimes kicked out of the closet for no apparent reason
- I wish reviving someone wouldn't take 3 business days since it makes things just impossible
- maybe give the possibility for the player who's down to crawl slowly towards anywhere
- I wish that in the non monster (easy) mode, leaving without our partners would not kill the other: it'd be better that they would respawn with us in the elevator (like Hospital 666 for example)
- the stamina bar really is unforgiving
- not enough hiding spots
- environment changes being anomalies or not aren't always coherent? like blood from the ceiling is an anomaly but broken pipe with goo dropping isn't

There will be major changes to environment in the next update to make anomalies easier, and there will also be changes to anomalies.
AI will also be much easier.
Revival speed will also be changed in the future.
I'll stick around to test those updates then!

Great game, but i still dead when i already in the closed, fix this please 😭
i played with my friends and it was really fun but we made it to lvl 1 2 times and both times there was a wall blocking the way. the first time since i was the last one standing and we were all new we assumed we could just leave and missed an anomaly but the second time when all of us survived we learned from our mistake and found the anomaly but the door was still blocked off when we opened it and it didn’t say we missed anything. we didn’t know what to do and got back in the elevator since we couldn’t interact with anything and we got sent back up to lvl 8. we’re just confused on how we were supposed to clear the game.
When you find anomaly on first floor, you are supposed to get back to elevator and press up.
